About Enchanted Home Montessori School
Our Philosophy
Enchanted Home Montessori School was started in 2009 with a vision to provide the best quality education for preschool students in the valley. Our mission is to enrich the understanding of Cosmic Education in children (the core of Montessori philosophy), which teaches the concept of interconnectedness of all things in the universe. This gives a child an insight into their own place and task in the world.
Through the Montessori method and all the extracurricular activities we offer, our children will understand all things are part of the universe, and are connected with each other to form one whole unity. As Montessori suggests "this idea helps the mind of the child to become fixed to stop wandering an aimless quest for knowledge, instead he/she is satisfied having found the universal centre of himself with all things." This fuels their curiosity and creative energy to be engaged more actively while they learn, and learning is brought to life.
The Montessori classroom fosters a unique learning environment distinguishable from the traditional classroom. Children learn independently and are deeply engaged in their work, which incorporates specially-designed learning materials in a harmonized, peaceful atmosphere.
Montessori nurtures a child's freedom and curiosity, allowing them to explore and connect with their surroundings to facilitate growth into an independent, self-motivated, and respectful individual towards themselves and their community.

Practical Life

Fosters order, relation, classification, and ability to refine knowledge (assists sense discrimination)

Mathematics
Enforces concrete to abstract concepts through investigation, calculation, measurement, imagination, and creation
Culture
Foundation for the Cosmic Education, developed to contain certain key elements such as biology, geography, history and science to allow children to explore and experiment
Outdoor Environment
Montessori values a child's venture in a natural environment for their physical development and health. Children benefit from moving freely, as they grasp an understanding of the world we live in, allowing them to experience wildlife, lifecycles and habitats in their own surroundings.
